The dual-panel system required engineering a connection that is rigid under play, flush when joined, and operable with one hand. The result is a three-stage sliding lock designed from scratch.
Male sliding posts guide each panel into position during Stage 1, ensuring perfect optical alignment before any magnetic engagement occurs. Misalignment is mechanically impossible.
Internal alignment magnets stabilize lateral position while post-tip magnets provide the final locking pull. Polarity arrangement ensures panels can only join in the correct orientation.
Stage 3 produces a fully flush external surface. No raised seam, no gap, no rocking. Cards slide across the join as if it were not there.
